Everything you might want to check before requesting a trial. Open whichever sections are useful — you don’t need to read it all.
One three-hour working trial shift, completed inside your existing setup. Preparation and familiarisation happen beforehand and are separate from the three working hours — they don’t eat into your trial time.
There’s no invoice for the trial and no obligation to continue afterwards.
Any shift where support would genuinely help: weekday, evening, weekend or overnight. The exact three-hour slot is agreed when we confirm the booking.
We’d rather you picked a shift that actually tests us than a quiet one that doesn’t tell you much.
Before the shift we agree what access is needed and make sure it’s authorised on your side. We work through the systems and communication routes you already use — there’s nothing new for your team to learn.
Preparation takes as long as it needs to make the shift genuinely ready.
The exact duties are agreed before the trial. Typically that covers booking calls, driver allocation, customer enquiries, overflow and out-of-hours calls, and support during busy periods.
Financial decisions, refunds, unusual pricing, sensitive account changes and anything outside the agreed scope stay with you unless you specifically authorise otherwise.
We agree beforehand who we contact if something needs a decision from your side, and how. Someone on your team needs to be reachable for escalation during the trial.
There’s no cancellation charge and no penalty. Cancelling doesn’t automatically remove your eligibility for a trial.
Rebooking is subject to availability and confirmation.
One standard free trial per operating company. Any additional free trial needs separate approval from us, which we’ll consider case by case.
We treat everything we see during a trial as confidential. Access is limited to what’s needed for the agreed duties, and we’ll sign confidentiality terms where you want that in writing.
How we handle information submitted through this website is set out in our privacy policy.
We review how the shift went — what worked, anything that should change, and whether ongoing cover would actually be useful to you.
If you decide to continue after the trial, we’ll recommend an option based on the cover you actually need and provide a clear proposal.
There’s no obligation to continue.
Is it genuinely free? Yes — one three-hour working shift, no invoice, no obligation.
Can you use our dispatch system? System access and suitability are checked before the trial. We’ll confirm compatibility once we’ve talked through your setup.
Does requesting a trial book it? No. We confirm availability, duties and preparation requirements with you first.
What if we need to move the date? That’s fine — rebooking is subject to availability and confirmation.
